Part-Time Social Media Content Specialist
Independent Contractor | Remote | Alpharetta, Georgia Area Preferred
Your Vibe Marketing is looking for a creative, dependable Social Media Content Specialist to join our growing team. This is a part-time contractor position for someone who understands social media, enjoys creating engaging content, and can turn ideas into polished graphics and short-form videos.
You’ll work in a collaborative, team-focused environment supporting clients across a variety of industries. The position is remote, but we prefer someone who lives in or near Alpharetta, Georgia, and is available for occasional local meetings, events or video shoots.
What You’ll Do
- Create engaging social media graphics
- Write clear, creative captions that reflect the client’s voice
- Develop and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Help plan content calendars and generate fresh content ideas
- Schedule and publish posts using platforms such as Hootsuite, SocialPilot and Social Champ
- Repurpose photos, videos and existing content for multiple social platforms
- Follow brand guidelines while bringing creativity to each project
- Manage assignments and deadlines for multiple clients
- Review content carefully for accuracy, spelling and overall quality
- Communicate consistently with the team and respond well to feedback
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience creating content for business social media accounts
- Strong graphic design skills and proficiency with Canva or similar software
- Experience producing and editing short-form social media videos
- Strong writing, grammar and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms
- A good understanding of current social media trends and best practices
- Ability to learn quickly, stay organized and meet deadlines
- A creative eye and the confidence to contribute new ideas
- Dependable, professional and comfortable working independently
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to support a growing team
A degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field is helpful but not required. A strong portfolio, creativity, and relevant experience are most important.
